Canadiens vs Flyers
April 24, 2008
After sweeping aside Boston in Game 7, Montreal must now face Philadelphia, which beat Washington to advance. We all know that teams are different in the play-offs compared to their regular season forms. Canadiens must be careful since their games at Bell Centre, their home form is not that impressive
Another exciting fact is that Carey Price is the fifth NHL goalie to win a play-off series before turning twenty-one.
Well, I thought football has hooligans. Looks like every sport has group of retarded fans. Here is the report.
Habs Advance!
April 22, 2008
The moment I woke up, I turned on my PC and sat anxiously as the NHL website was loading. 1-0 was the scoreline after the first period courtesy of Michael Komisarek. Bruins were pressing Habs and the shots on goal were 13 to 10 when I activated the game’s online scoreboard. Soon, it was the Canadiens’ turn to pressure the visitors but Tim Thomas kept them in the game with kick saves which I heard from the game radio. He saved quite a number of breakaways but he could not prevent Mark Streit (A: Kovalev, Koivu) from extending the lead at 10:45 in the second period.
I went to work hoping that Canadiens would advance. Final score: Boston 0 @ 5 Montreal. Carey Price managed to earn his second shutout in the series.

Hopefully, the Canadiens go all the way to win the Stanley Cup.
Which Male Celeb Would You Choose?
April 21, 2008
I have been thinking. Why do the Japanese entertainment companies like to doll up their male celebrities? Do they want to follow closely the resemblance like their manga? How about Koreans? What do you think? I have seen alot of ladies going week in their knees going ga-ga looking at the tall and hunky actors in their dramas.
Who do you prefer? The likes of (examples) Takeshi Kaneshiro or Oh Ji Ho?

or

Looking forward to what you have to say!
Stanley Cup
April 20, 2008
With Bruins forcing a Game 7 in the series, I am very nervous for the Habs. Hopefully, Carey Price can perform like Jose Theodore then.

I am into ice-hockey just because I admire the goalies. Thinking whether to play for NTU Pyros again since I left for NS in 2005.
Sacking Of Big Sam
January 10, 2008
I am sorry Newcastle fans. The club you support has never been in my favourable record. So, with the sacking of Sam Allardyce, one of my favourite managers since his time in Bolton, I can see that this is the start of an inevitable downward spiral to the Championship.
Newcastle to me has always been rubbish. From the board to the fans. I was very surprised he went there after successfully building Bolton whose aggressive type of play has been my favourite tactic.

So, I am waiting for the Magpies to get relegated.
FIFA World Club Cup
December 13, 2007
Missing us? Or have you been missing the FIFA World Club Cup Championship that is happening now. I was rooting for a Japanese team, Urawa Red Diamonds, playing AC Milan in the evening. The game was tight and it ended 1-0 to the Italian team.

Chelsea After Mourinho
September 24, 2007
Late last week, when Jose Mourinho got sacked (or left on mutual consent), I was quite surprised but I somehow saw it coming since the clashes during the off-season. I heard from BBC that Abramovich will pick the team and Avram Grant to try to come up a tactic to suit the team. Unless the Russian plays Football Manager, he must be with the team almost 24/7 to be sure that his selection is justified.
This morning, I heard from radio DJ’s that the reason Mourinho left was because Terry complained to the board when the Portuguese manager asked the team doctors about the defender’s poor performances. The skipper told that Mourinho has lost the backing of his players.
Personally, I think this is wrong because no player should be above the manager when it comes to planning for the team’s next match. I know that Terry is a competitive player on the field but he should not be selfish. Think Gattuso of AC Milan.

I am neutral when it comes to the Portuguese. I would like to be coached under him if I were to be a footballer besides Rafael Benitez, Sam Allardyce, Harry Redknapp, Jürgen Klinsmann and Joachim Low.
Other source here.
With Chelsea losing 2-0 to Manchester United after the harsh sending-off of John Obi Mikel, I do not think Grant will be at the helm for long.
Follow Up on C. Ronaldo
September 19, 2007
I just finished watching the Champs’ League match between Sporting and Manchester before my breakfast for the start of today’s fast. It’s 0534hrs btw.
Ronaldo scored against his old club and it was an emotional time for him the moment he headed the only goal of the game. He had a muted celebration.
I mean, I am neutral towards this guy but I do admire his football abilities. That is why I do not like the English tabloids to really squeeze every controversy and blow it out of proportion with his stories. Well, not just him, all the players. Ranging from Beckham to Seaman.
I would like to ask the English sports writers this. What have you achieved in writing those far from truth stories? Are you not talented in football, that is why you take it out on these players whenever they encounter controversy? And what if people call you guys the ‘butt-sniffers’? Would you like it?
So, tabloids which invade people’s privacy (sportsmen, celebrities etc) are losers.
