- Your left lung is smaller than your right lung to make room for your heart
- When you blush, the lining of your stomach turns red as well
- The attachment of the human skin to muscles is what causes dimples
- The average person who stops smoking requires one hour less sleep at night
- It takes about 20 seconds for a red blood cell to circle the whole body
- Dalmatians are born without spots

What if Singapore were a person

I was reading What If Singapore Were A Person by miyagi.
I might be kind of late, but hack it.
If Singapore was a person….
She would like a mother who gives love and doesn’t love herself enough.
Singapore has given us so much, but we have always cried out like a baby wanting more.
Only once a year, do we give her some credit on the good work she has done.
Is that enough?
And as children we fail to see what our mothers have sacrificed for us, because we fail to understand her and her needs.
Fine Distinctions…

- Never, under any circumstance, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night
- If you had to explain, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be “meetings”
- There is a very fine line between “hobby” and “mental illness”
- You should not confuse your career with your life
- The most destructive force in the universe is gossip
- You should never say anything to a woman that even remotely suggests that you think she’s pregnant unless you can see an actual baby emerging from her at that moment
- The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender and economic status is that. deep down inside, we ALL believe that we are above average drivers
- A person who is nice to you, but rude to a waiter, is not nice
- Men are like fine wine. They start out as grapes, and it’s up to the women to stomp the crap out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with

The Community Shield
August 5, 2007
As much as I hate to say it, I have to admit I have this great feeling (so too my mum) that Chelsea will walk away with a 1-0 victory over the Red Devils.
I have been evaluating the signings and I think the Blues edge out in terms of their acquisitions for players for specific positions. Florent Malouda, Steve Sidwell (a damn aggressive midfielder) and Tal Ben Haim (reliable defender) are for the present time to reclaim back the Premiership.
Manchester United bought youngsters for the future and Hargreaves is only to make up for Paul Scholes’ poor tackling.
I know I am typing minutes before the match but my guts say the scoreline on top while I am hoping 2-1 win for The Red Devils.
